Braid Clinics
The braid is a hairstyle that is loved from the streets to the runway. The style is versatile and ranges from fairly simple to very intricate. Now every student will have the opportunity to learn how to do some of the braids that have been seen on their favorite celebrities!
Braid Clinic 101
*French *Traditional *Dutch/Cornrow *Ladder *Waterfall

Who: Grades 3-5
When: November 5th - December 12th, Monday & Wednesday 4:15 PM-5:45 PM
Where: Goshen Elementary School in the Art Room
​
A licensed hairstylist will show students how to do french, traditional 3-strand, dutch/cornrow, waterfall and ladder braids. The course is 6 weeks and is $190. Students will receive a mannequin head, stand and an accessory kit for the duration of the course. These items should be taken home for practice but must be brought to class everyday. Practicing the braids at home will help your child to get better at doing them; please encourage that. The accessory kit will be theirs to keep upon completion of the course, but the mannequin & stand must be returned on November 10th. All braids will be practiced on mannequins - not other students.

Braid Clinic 102

When: January 8th - February 12th, Tuesday 4:15 PM-5:15 PM
Where: Captain James E. Daly Elementary School in the Art Room

A licensed hairstylist will show students how to do a fishtail, dutch fishtail, 4-strand, infinity and zipper braid. The course is 6 weeks and is $190. Students will receive a mannequin head, stand and an accessory kit for the duration of the course. These items should be taken home for practice but must be brought to class everyday. Practicing the braids at home will help your child to get better at doing them; please encourage that. The accessory kit will be theirs to keep upon completion of the course, but the mannequin & stand must be returned on February 12th. All braids will be practiced on mannequins - not other students.
